I am D.P. What I learned about megabats is that they look like foxes or dogs. They are larger than other bats. Also, they have large eyes and small ears. Bats are found in the tropical rain forests in Australia, Africa and Asia. They ether eat fruit or drink nectar from flowers. Sometimes they get their food in the day time. My favorite megabats is the gray headed flying fox because it has a dog face.

We are DV and JS. Here are some things about bat families. They make nurseries in a cave. Mother gives the baby bat milk. Also they cling to their mother until they are too large to be carried. The other type of animals care for their young like bats are kangaroos, cows, and pigs. A kangaroo carries their young in their pouch, and cows and pigs give them milk.

Hi! DV and JS. We are A.A and D.P. Here is what we found. We learned about how mother bats take care of their babies. The mother bats crowd together with their babies to stay warm. They make their nurseries in a cave. Bat mothers nurse their babies with milk. Baby bats grow up by hugging their mothers until they get large. Other animals that care for their babies like bats are cows, goats, and sheep because they give milk to their babies

We are RB and O. L . This is what we know about Bats families .The first fact is with all of the bats together the temperature is raised to over 100 degrees F in the cave . The Mothers can find their baby out of hundreds of babies by sight; smell and sound . Baby bats are unable to fly for several months. We think that a cow takes care of her baby just like a bat mother .

We are DV and JS. Microbats are small, and they have large ears and small eyes. They live all over the world. Microbats eat insects, mosquitoes, rodents, other bats , reptiles, birds, and even fish. My favorite one is the long tongued bat because it has long slender tongue. Also it looks like a donkey, and the color is pretty.

The parts of a bat’s body are used are ears, mouth, and wings. Echolocation works when the bats make a high-pitched sound that hits something and bounce back to the bats. Bats can tell if it’s food or other objects by listening the echo. The high-pitched sound sounds like a radio that doesn’t work.
